QUOTE

In response to the fire incident at Putra Heights in Subang Jaya and subsequent to its previous announcement, Gas Malaysia Berhad (“Gas Malaysia or the Group”), a member of the MMC Group, wishes to reassure all stakeholders that its gas pipeline network and gas facilities remain secured, with all necessary precautions implemented to uphold the highest standards of safety and integrity.

As of now, Gas Malaysia has been informed by its supplier that four city gate stations in the affected area are temporarily closed. As a result, it is anticipated that curtailment of gas supply to certain areas within the Klang Valley region will be implemented and
potentially impacting our customers. The extent of the impact is still being assessed and we are in constant communication with relevant shippers. We have ensured that all relevant stakeholders have been promptly updated and the Group will continue to engage with them proactively.

As the situation unfolds, we will provide timely updates as more information becomes available. The company appreciates the understanding and cooperation of its valued customers and stakeholders during this challenging time.
