Gas Malaysia Energy and Services Sdn Bhd (GMES) and Intercontinental Specialty Fats (ISF) formalised a Supplemental Gas Supply Agreement (GSA) to supply certified biomethane through the Natural Gas Distribution System (NGDS). The agreement was signed by En. Mohamad Farid Ghazali, CEO of GMES, and Mr. Toshio Fujimori, CEO of ISF, with key representatives including En. Ahmad Hashimi Abdul Manap, President & Group CEO of Gas Malaysia, and Ms. Khoo Yoke Lian, CMO of ISF, in attendance.
The biomethane supplied to ISF will be certified under the International Sustainability and Carbon Certification (ISCC) PLUS standard, a globally recognised certification that ensures the biomethane meets renewable and sustainability criteria. This partnership highlights GMES’s commitment to environmentally responsible practices and sustainability.
