To ensure that catastrophes are avoided, all construction activities in the vicinity of our pipelines have to be notified prior to its commencement. As this is required by law, we have provided several methods for third-party contractors to obtain further information.

As part of our pipeline safety initiatives, we have placed warning notices and markers above grounds laid with our pipelines. However, the exact location is not evident based on these markers, hence making it necessary for third-party contractors to obtain further information of our underground pipeline network.

All third-party contractors have to obtain a work permit from Gas Malaysia before commencing construction activities in the vicinity of our gas pipelines.

Please notify us beforehand (at least four working days in advance), if you would like to undertake any construction work in the vicinity of our gas pipelines.
