Step 1: Obtain the previous meter reading

Get your previous month's gas bill to obtain your previous meter reading or get it from your current month's gas bill.

Get the current meter reading from your current gas bill.

Step 3: Obtain the usage amount

The usage amount is the difference between your current meter reading and your previous meter reading.

Step 4: Obtain the pressure and temperature

You can get the pressure and temperature values from your previous month's gas bill.

Let us assume that the pressure is 30 kPa and temperature is 15°C.

Step 5: Convert usage amount from m³ to Sm³

The usage has to be converted into Sm³. To convert m³ to Sm³, use the formula below.
