One of the core components of Gas Malaysia's Distribution System are its
District stations, which are necessary to reduce and regulate the pressure of gas supplied to Medium
Pressure Network System.
We are continuously identifying and sourcing plots of land to house
our District stations – either by purchasing or leasing / renting plots of land. Leasing / renting
is viewed as a long-term commitment between Gas Malaysia and landowners.
As part of our decision-making process, land which is expected to be purchased, leased / rented
has to meet the following initial criteria:
- Land dimensions of at least 14 metres by 12 metres.
- Location of plot should be close to Gas Malaysia's facilities.
